These laws are very clear and regarded as some of the strictest consumer laws in the world, laws which extends to bookings made from overseas.

Booking Conditions
The islanka.com website service is operated by Radio Cairo Pty Ltd ABN 85 068 067 309 T/A islanka.com a Australian registered company. Radio Cairo Pty Ltd T/A islanka.com is NOT a travel agent or tour operator but a facilitator, which has relationships with a number of suppliers, whose properties and special interest trips are featured on this website. Your booking, when it is made, will not be with Radio Cairo Pty Ltd T/A islanka.com but with the relevant accommodation/trip supplier. You are effectively cutting out the middleman and paying direct to your accommodation/trip supplier, with the security of having us to represent you in obtaining the best prices, best rooms and especially assist you in advising and resolving any travel difficulties. As a facilitator we charge a small service fee, which is already included in the price quoted to you.

Only after email confirmation has been sent by your accommodation/trip supplier acknowledging receipt of your deposit/guarantee or full payment, will your reservation become confirmed. All monies you pay will be made direct to the provider concerned. As such, we accept no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any services or arrangements you purchase or for the acts or omissions of any suppliers or other persons or parties connected with any arrangements.

All bookings for accommodation and trips are subject to the booking conditions of the relevant supplier. Customers are responsible for reading the supplier’s booking conditions of which you are advised at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed booking, cancellation/amendment charges may be payable to the supplier. The amount of such charges will depend on the individual supplier's cancellation policy and may vary according to the period of notice given.

You are strongly recommended to take out comprehensive personal travel insurance, at the time of booking, for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer on our part or on the part of the suppliers. The matters detailed constitute an invitation to you to make an offer on the stated terms to purchase arrangements featured. Our suppliers may accept or decline any such offer. All arrangements featured or referred to are at all times prior to specific confirmation subject to availability and no warranties, promises or representations are given as to availability.

We do not accept responsibility for your direct dealings with the ultimate supplier of the accommodation/trips, once the introduction has been made. All accommodation/trip suppliers featured on islanka.com are themselves responsible for providing you with the final quote and booking conditions for your reservation.

Radio Cairo Pty Ltd T/A islanka.com does not accept responsibility of the accommodation or trips featured on the site. If during the course of the holiday you have any reason for complaint or dissatisfaction you should contact the hotel/villa manager or accommodation/trip suppliers in order that remedial action may be taken. We will at all times endeavour to assist you in resolving any travel difficulties.

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage or other sum or claim of any nature whatsoever (direct, indirect, consequential or other) which arises, directly or indirectly, in connection with this website including, for the avoidance of doubt and not by way of limitation, any use of any information or material contained in this website or any inability to access or use this website.

Radio Cairo Pty Ltd T/A islanka.com does not accept any responsibility for the cancellation of your booking by your accommodation/trip supplier due to "force majeure" unforseen circumstances. You are ultimately responsible for direct dealings with the supplier of your accommodation/trip, once the introduction has been made. We will at all times endeavour to resolve any problems as a facilitator between you and your accommodation/trip supplier and to recover all monies paid or suggest an alternative. Your accommodation/trip supplier reserves the right to supply accommodation/trip of a similar standard due to “force majeure” or changes due to unforseen circumstances. At no time will Radio Cairo Pty Ltd T/A islanka.com be held responsible for any incidental expenses related to the cancellation of your accommodation/trip by your supplier.

Force Majeure
At no time will Radio Cairo Pty Ltd t/a islanka.com be held responsible for natural disasters (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tsunami etc.) wars, riots or other major upheaval or performance failures of parties outside the control of the contracting party.
