A spot to stop, location and view amazing, the local food superb, the accommodation what you expect in somewhat a remote location, relying on local village staff. Perhaps not the best accommodation in Sri Lanka, actually nowhere near it, none-the-less an excellent place to break your journey, enjoy a cool G & T or beer and truly a fabulous local rice & curry: please don't whinge about the steak & chips on tripadvisor!         If you're looking for something more stylish, stay on the road for another 4-5 hours and you'll be satistied in Galle. This is a basic revamped old British resthouse, not much has changed from days of colony, except now they serve what the servants once ate, oh, and finger sandwiches/club sandwich.
